Respondents PRAYER : Writ Petition filed Under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying to issue a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents to take action on the petitioner's representation dated 25.09.2018 made for conducting consecration (Kumbhabhishekam) for the 5th respondent Temple and other village Temples, viz., Sri Ayyannar, Sri Pidari Amman and Sri Seethala Devi Mariamman, situated in the Tirunallar Village, Karaikkal District, Puducherry State, by including the Trustees/Sthanigars and Local Villages in the "Kumbhabhishekam Committee" and to remove the toilet and room and old building constructed facing the Sri Seethala Devi Mariamman Temple and other grievances. By consent of both parties, the Writ petition is taken up for final disposal at the admission stage itself.

2. The petitioner has come up with this writ petition seeking a direction to the respondents to take action on the petitioner's representation dated 25.09.2018.

3. According to the learned counsel for the petitioner, the petitioner has submitted a representation dated 25.09.2018 seeking to conduct consecration (Kumbhabhishekam) for the 5th respondent Temple and other village Temples, viz., Sri Ayyannar, Sri Pidari Amman and Sri Seethala Devi Mariamman, situated in the Tirunallar Village, Karaikkal District, Puducherry State, by including the Trustees/Sthanigars and Local Villages in the "Kumbhabhishekam Committee" and to remove the toilet and room and old building constructed facing the Sri Seethala Devi Mariamman Temple and other grievances, but, the same is yet to be disposed of by the respondents. Hence, the petitioner is before this Court.

4. Heard Mr.J.Kumaran, learned Additional Government Pleader appearing on behalf of the respondents.

5. Considering the facts and circumstances of the case and the submissions made on either side, this Court, without expressing any opinion on the merits of the representation, directs the fifth respondent to consider the petitioner's representation dated 25.09.2018 and pass appropriate orders, on merits and in accordance with law, after issuing notice and also affording due an opportunity of hearing to the petitioner, as well as any of the interested parties, within a period of four weeks from today.

6.With the above directions, this writ petition stands disposed of. No costs.

Consequently, the connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
