Respondents Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying for issuance of a Writ of Certiorarified Mandamus to call for the records in connection with the proceedings in Award No.899-2000 Na.Ka.632/C99-2000 and award dated 28.03.2000 of declaring that an extent of 2.33.5 hectares in Survey No.94/1A and 94/3A in Onnakarai Village have been acquired under the Tamil Nadu Acquisition of Land for Harijan Welfare Schemes Act, 1978 and fixed the total award amount of Rs.1,97,186/- and quash the same insofar as the petitioners are concerned and consequently, direct the respondents to revoke the above land acquisition proceedings.
