Respondents Prayer : Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying to issue a Writ of Mandamus directing the respondents to consider the petitioners' representation dated 04.04.2018 for regularizing their services as per G.O.Ms.No.22, Personnel and Administrative Reforms (F) Department dated 28.02.2006 from the date of their initial appointment and all other accrued consequential benefits forthwith thereto.

This writ petition is filed by eight petitioners, seeking direction to the respondents to consider their representation dated 04.04.2018 in terms of G.O.Ms.No.22 Personnel and Administrative Reforms (F) Department dated 28.02.2006.
2. The petitioners were initially appointed as casual labourers / Mazdoors in the year 1991 and have rendered sufficient number of years of service in the field in which they were all appointed. By G.O.Ms.No.22 dated 28.02.2006, the Government directed that the services of daily wage employees working in all Government Departments, who have rendered 10 years of service as on 01.01.2006, be regularised in the time scale of pay of the post in accordance with the service conditions prescribed for the post concerned, subject to their being otherwise qualified.
3. Claiming benefit in terms of the abovesaid Goverment Order in G.O.Ms.No.22 Personnel and Administrative Reforms (F) Department dated 28.02.2006, the petitioners have submitted a representation to the respondents dated 04.04.2018, which has not been considered till date. That has forced the petitioners to file the present writ petition.
4. Learned Special Government Pleader appearing for the respondents would submit that the respondents are prepared to consider the grievances expressed by the petitioners' representation dated 04.04.2018 in terms of the aforesaid Government Order.
5. Accordingly, the respondents are directed to consider the representation submitted by the petitioners dated 04.04.2018 in terms of G.O.Ms.No.22 Personnel and Administrative Reforms (F) Department dated 28.02.2006, and pass appropriate orders within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of the order. With the above directions, the writ petition is disposed of. No costs.
