ORDER

This Criminal Original Petition has been preferred seeking to direct the I Additional District and Sessions Judge, Salem, to dispose of the case in S.C. No.42 of 2011 pending on the file of the said Court within a time frame. The petitioner is facing prosecution in S.C. No.42 of 2011 before the First Additional District and Sessions Judge, Salem and he seeks expeditious disposal of the said case.

Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondent State.

The learned Additional Public Prosecutor submitted that the prosecution have examined all the witnesses, except the Investigating Officer.

In view of the above submission made by the learned Additional Public Prosecutor, this Court directs the Trial Court to complete the trial in S.C.No.42 of 2011 within a period of three months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order, provided the accused cooperate and there is no other legal impediment.
