Respondents Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying to issue a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents to take immediate and suitable action to remove the Electricity Board with Pillar which has been erected straight in front of the petitioner's residential premises gate and thereby to refix the electricity board in the space very well available in front of the petitioner's house at the side end of the gate so as to enable the petitioner to have ingress and egress into her residential premises at house bearing Door No.6/7, Srinivasa Nagar, I Street, Koyambedu, Chennai-107, by considering her representations dated 04.9.2018 and 6.9.2018.

ORDER

This writ petition has been filed seeking a direction to the respondents to take immediate and suitable action to remove the Electricity Board with Pillar, which was fixed straight in front of the petitioner's residence at Door No.6/7, Srinivasa Nagar, I Street, Koyambedu, Chennai - 107, and to refix the same in the space available at the side end of the petitioner's gate, so as to enable the petitioner to have ingress and engress to her residence.

Considering the request of the petitioner, this Court, on 01.11.2018, has passed the following order : "The learned counsel for the respondents seeks sufficient time to remove the Electricity Board with Pillar, which has been erected straight in front of the petitioner's residential premises.

2. Considering the same, two weeks time is granted for removing such electricity board.

3. Post on 20.11.2018 for reporting compliance". 3.

Today, when the matter is taken up for hearing, the learned Standing Counsel appearing for the respondent would submit that pursuant to the order dated 01.11.2018 passed by this Court, the respondent has removed the Electricity Board with Pillar, that was erected before the petitioner's residential premises and this was also consented by the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner.

Recording the submissions of the learned counsels appearing for the respondents as well as the petitioner, this writ petition stands closed. No costs.
