W.M.P.Nos.31723 and 31729 of 2018 in W.P.Nos.4133 and 4134 of 2017 T.S.SIVAGNANAM, J.

and N.SATHISH KUMAR, J.

(Common Order of the Court was made by T.S.Sivagnanam, J.) We have heard Mr.Adithya Reddy, learned counsel for the petitioners; and Mr.Syed Mustafa, learned Government Pleader (Puducherry) for the Union Territory of Puducherry.

2.These petitions have been filed to clarify the common order and direction issued in W.P.Nos.4133 and 4134 of 2017, dated 13.11.2017. 3.It is submitted by the learned counsel for the petitioners that the Court while disposing of the writ petitions, has directed the respondents to deal with the representations of the petitioners dated 14.02.2017 as expeditiously as possible, though, not later than six weeks' from the date of the order, i.e., 13.11.2017.

4.In paragraph 3 of the order dated 13.11.2017, the Court has noted that the petitioners have filed further representations on 14.02.2017, though in the prayer sought for in the writ petitions, there is a reference to the representations dated 10.09.2015.

5.It is the submission of the learned counsel that no representation has been given on 14.02.2017 and the representations which the petitioners sought for disposal are dated 10.09.2015.

6.This appears to be the true state of affairs. Therefore, we intend to clarify the order dated 13.11.2017, in the following terms by substituting the following paragraph as paragraph no.5 instead of paragraphs 5, 5.1 and 6:- "5.In the result, the writ petitions are disposed of by directing the third respondent to consider the petitioners' representations dated 10.09.2015 and pass orders on merits and in accordance with law within a period of twelve weeks' from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. The petitioners are at liberty to submit fresh representations along with a copy of this order and the copy of the earlier representations dated 10.09.2015 and forward the same to the third respondent."

7.In the result, these miscellaneous petition are allowed. (T.S.S., J.) (N.S.K., J.) 01.07.2019 Note: Registry is directed to issue fresh order copy. abr
