Ms.P.Kavitha, learned Government Advocate takes notice on behalf of the respondents.

2. By consent, this Writ Petition is taken up and disposed of at the stage of admission itself.

3. This Writ Petition has been filed seeking a direction to the respondents to issue an order of transfer to the Panchayat Union Girls Middle School, Pattampakkam, Cuddalore District by considering the petitioner's representations.

4. The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner made a representation dated 27.08.2018 to the Chief Educational Officer, Cuddalore, seeking transfer to Panchayat Union Girls

Middle School, Pattampakkam, Cuddalore District. While so, the District Educational Officer, Vridhachalam, sent a communication in Na.Ka.No.9234/A3/2018 dated 06.09.2018, to the petitioner stating that his request would be considered as and when vacancy arises in that place. According to the petitioner, now, there is a vacancy arisen in the said place, due to change of circumstances. Hence, the learned counsel sought appropriate direction to the respondents to consider his claim for transfer.

5.The learned Government Advocate, taking notice of the respondents submitted that the respondents would consider the claim of the petitioner, on merits and as per law. 6.Considering the facts and circumstances of the case and having regard to the submissions made by the learned counsel on either side, this Court directs the respondents to consider the claim of the petitioner and pass appropriate orders, with regard to transfer, on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. 7.Accordingly, this writ petition stands disposed of. No costs. Consequently, connected Miscellaneous Petition is closed.
