Respondents Prayer:

Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying to issue a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents to pay the petitioner forthwith the pension payable to him for the period from July 2013 to December 2013 under TNSTCEPF Rules, together with 16% interest per annum. For Petitioner : Mr.V.Ajoy Khose For Respondents : Mr.R.S.Selvam, Government Advocate.

O R D E R

The learned Government Advocate, appearing on behalf of the respondents, made a submission that paragraph-9 of the counter-affidavit states that the grievance of the writ petitioner has already been redressed. In this regard, paragraph-9 of the counter-affidavit is extracted hereunder:- "9. I humbly submits that the arrears amount of monthly pension for the period from July 2013 to December 2013 was arrived and https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

the proposal was sent to TNSTC EPF Trust for making payment to the petitioner. Hence, the amount will be settled from TNSTC EPF Trust, Chennai on seniority basis to the petitioner in due course."

2. In view of the counter-affidavit filed by the respondents, no further adjudication is required in this writ petition. However, it is made clear that the case of the writ petitioner is to be considered without causing any undue delay.

3. With the above observations, the writ petition stands disposed of. However, there shall be no order as to costs.
