Respondents Writ petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying for a writ of Habeas Corpus, to grant parole or emergency leave to the detenu namely Nagarajan, Son Of Mariappan aged about 52 years C.T.No.8161 now confined at Central Prison, Salem pursuant to the petitioner's husband representation dated 04.10.2018 for a period of 15 days without police escort.

ORDER

(Order of the Court was made by C.T.SELVAM, J.) Petitioner seeks emergency leave for her husband, who is a Life Convict [C.T.No.8161], confined at Central Prison, Salem.

2. We have heard learned counsel for petitioner as also Mr.M.Mohamed Riyaz, learned Additional Public Prosecutor for respondents.

3. Petitioner informs the need for the presence of her husband to join her in blessing their daughter-in-law as per religious and customary practice on the occasion of her baby shower on 21.10.2018. Petitioner has made a representation to third respondent on 04.10.2018.

4. Considering the request of the petitioner, which is a reasonable one, this Court would direct the third respondent to consider the representation dated 04.10.2018 and issue appropriate directions on or before 16.10.2018. 5.

With the above direction, this Habeas Corpus Petition shall stand closed.
