JUDGMENT
[Judgment of the Court was delivered by P.N.PRAKASH, J] This criminal appeal is directed against the judgment and order of conviction and sentence dated 12.06.2017 passed by the learned I Additional District and Sessions Judge, Salem, in S.C.No.12 of 2015.
2. When the matter was taken up for hearing, learned counsel for the appellant and learned Additional Public Prosecutor submitted that Ramesh, the appellant herein died on 27.01.2021 and that his near relatives are not willing to continue the appeal in terms of proviso to Section 394(2) Cr.P.C. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/
In the aforestated circumstance, this criminal appeal is closed as abated.
