This Criminal Original Petition has been filed to direct the respondent police to complete the investigation and file a final report in Crime No.920 of 2018 dated 22.10.2016 pending on the file of the respondent.
2.Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondent. 3.On the complaint lodged by the petitioner, the respondent Police have registered a case in Crime No.920 of 2018 on 22.10.2018 under Sections 147, 148, 448, 294(b) and 506 (2) IPC. While so, the de facto complainant has filed the present petition with the above prayer.
4.The learned Additional Public Prosecutor submitted that if three months time is granted, police will complete the investigation.
5.Recording the submission, the respondent police is granted three months time from the date of receipt of a copy of this https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/
order to complete the investigation in Crime No.920 of 2016 and file a charge sheet or a closure report as the case may be, under due intimation to the de facto complainant, provided there is no any legal impediment.
