This Criminal Original Petition has been filed to direct the respondent police not to harass the petitioner under the guise of enquiry.
2.Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Government Advocate [Crl. Side] appearing for the respondent.
3.Learned Government Advocate [Crl. Side] submitted that on the complaint given by one Gururaj against the petitioner, petition enquiry is pending before the respondent in C.S.R.No.222/2018.
4.In such view of the matter, the petitioner is directed to cooperate with the police for enquiry and at the time of conducting enquiry, the petitioner shall not be harassed. During the course of enquiry, if any cognizable offence is made out, https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/
the respondent police are free to register an FIR and this order shall not be a shield for the petitioner against arrest. With the above direction, this petition is closed.
