Respondents Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying for issuance of a writ of mandamus directing the 5th respondent to consider the petitioner's representation dated 16.08.2018 to appoint a Commission headed by a retired Judge of this Court to conduct necessary enquiries to resolve the list of grievances, pending on the file of the 5th respondent, within a time frame as stipulated by this Court.

(Order of the court was made by R. MAHADEVAN, J.) This writ petition has been filed by the petitioner for a direction to the 5th respondent to consider his representation dated 16.08.2018, seeking appointment of a Commission headed by a retired Judge of this Court to conduct necessary enquiry to resolve the grievances, within a time frame to be stipulated by this Court.

2. The petitioner has made two representations on 16.08.2018 to the fifth respondent, pointing out various mismanagement as well as discrepancies in respect of the administration and maintenance of the temple properties belonging to Sri Pasupatheeswarar Temple, Pandanallur and Arulmigu Kumalamettu Mariamman Temple, Sankiruppu. Finding no response on the same, he has come up with this writ petition. 3/6

3. Heard the learned counsel appearing for all the parties and perused the documents enclosed in the typed set of papers.

4. Considering the facts and circumstances of the case, this court directs the 5th respondent to consider the petitioner's representations dated 16.08.2018 and pass appropriate orders, on merits and in accordance with law, after affording an opportunity of personal hearing to the petitioner, respondents as well as any other interested parties, within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

5. With the above directions, this writ petition is disposed of. No costs. Connected miscellaneous petitions are closed.
