O R D E R
The petitioner has filed this petition to transfer the investigation in Crime No.581 of 2018 dated 04.08.2018 pending on the file of the respondent police to any other police station.
2. The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that though the respondent Police registered a case under Sections 297 and 304 (a) IPC, they did not make any enquiry and the case is pending in FIR stage.
3. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor submitted that the petitioner lodged a complaint for a hit and run case, which was registered in Crime No.581 of 2018 for the offences under Section 297 and 304 (a) IPC. It is further submitted that even after verifying the CCTV footage, it is not possible to find out the vehicle, which hit the deceased. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/
4. Considering the facts and submissions of the learned Additional Public Prosecutor, this Court is of the view that the change of investigation at this stage would not serve any purpose. Accordingly, this petition is Dismissed. However, the the respondent is directed to complete the investigation and file final report within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
