Defendants PRAYER: This Contempt Petition has been filed under Section 11 of Contempt of Court Act, 1971, to punish the respondents herein for having willfully disobeyed the order dated 30.07.2018, passed by this Court in C.S.No.390 of 2005 under Section 11 of the Contempt of Courts Act, 1971. 1/3

O R D E R

Earlier, by an order of this Court dated 30.07.2018, the suit in C.S.No.390 of 2005 was decreed in terms of compromise. Since the terms of compromise has not been complied with, the present Contempt Petition has been filed.

The learned counsel appearing for the respondents would submit that as per the compromise decree, the respondents have to pay a sum of Rs.5,00,000/- to the petitioner herein and on 27.01.2020, the respondents have paid a sum of Rs.2,50,000/-. Today(28.02.2020), the learned counsel for the respondents has handed over the Demand Daft for another sum of Rs.2,50,000/- and he would submit that now entire amount has been paid and no further adjudication is required in this Contempt Petition. Hence, this contempt petition may be closed.

3. Considering the fact that the order passed by this Court in C.S.No.390 of 2005, has been complied with, no further adjudication is 2/3
