O R D E R

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed to call for the records relating to C.C.No.208 of 2018 on the file of the Judicial Magistrate Court, Mettupalayam and quash the same. 2.The respondent, who is none other than the mother of the petitioner, has filed a private complaint in C.C.No.208 of 2018 before the Judicial Magistrate Court, Mettupalayam, for the offences under Sections 406, 417, 418 and 420 IPC. On receipt of summons, the petitioner/accused is before this Court for quashing the aforesaid private complaint.

3.Heard Mr.S.Gunalan, learned counsel for the petitioner/accused.

4.On a reading of the private complaint, the dispute essentially appears to be with regard to certain properties, which, the mother says that the petitioner/accused is in illegal occupation of. In the opinion of this Court, it is a fit case to be referred to the local Mediation Centre, for the purpose of arriving at an amicable settlement.

Hence, this Criminal Original Petition is closed with a direction to the learned Judicial Magistrate, Mettupalayam, to send the complainant and the accused to the local Mediation Centre, for arriving at a settlement. The petitioner/accused is directed to appear before the trial Court within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order and on https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

such appearance, he shall execute a bond for Rs.5,000/- without surety under Section 88 Cr.P.C. Consequently, connected Miscellaneous Petitions are closed.
