JUDGMENT
(Judgment of this Court was delivered by M.S.RAMESH.J) This Writ Appeal has been filed to set aside the order dated 24.07.2017 made in W.P.No.8500 of 2015.
2. Counting of 50% of the past services of the Part-Time Panchayat Clerk for the purpose of pensionary benefits has been the subject matter of several writ petitions. A Co-ordinate Bench of this Court has consistently held that such counting of 50% of past service is permissible. In one such case, an order was passed in W.A.No.612 of 2016, which was relied upon in paragraph 3 of the order of the learned Single Judge passed in W.P.No.21783 of 2014 and etc., batch, dated 24.07.2017.
3. The learned Additional Advocate General for the appellants also affirms that such orders have been implemented by the Government in G.O.Ms.No.111, Rural Development & Panchayat Raj (PA5) Department dated 14.03.2016.
4.In view of the above, we do not find any reason to interfere with the order of the learned Single Judge directing the appellants to count 50% of the past services of the part-time Panchayat Clerk for the purpose of calculating pensionary benefits.
