Respondents Prayer: Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying to issue a Writ of Certiorarified Mandamus, calling for the records pertaining to the election notification issued by the 2nd Respondent on 17.09.2018 in so far as the election to elect the members / office bearers of the Board of Directors of the Kallakurichi Cooperative Sugar Mills Ltd - Unit-2, Kachirapalayam and the list of final valid nominations published by the 3rd Respondent on 09.10.2018 and quash the same as arbitrary and against of principle of natural justice and against of Article 14 and 21 of the Constitution of India and consequently direct the Respondents 1 to 3 to conduct a fair and free election for the Kallakurichi Cooperative Sugar Mills Ltd. - Unit-2, Kachirapalayam afresh, within a specified time, by accepting petitioner's nomination and
allowing the petitioner to contest the election and take appropriate action against the 3rd respondent for having violated the rules and procedures and for having accepting the nominations of respondents 4 to 30 in illegal manner and for illegal rejection of the petitioner's nomination.

There is no representation on behalf of the petitioner. Even on the earlier hearing date, there is no representation, the matter listed under the caption 'For Dismissal'. 2.This writ petition has been filed relating to the election notification dated 17.09.2018 for the members/office bearers of the Board of Directors of Kallakurichi Cooperative Sugar Mills Ltd - Unit 2, Kachirapalayam and also to quash the final valid nominations published by the 3rd respondent.
3.It is however contended by the learned Special Government Pleader that elections have already been conducted and the period has also long expired.
