O R D E R

This writ petition has been filed seeking a direction the second respondent to dispose of the appeal .

2. According to the petitioner, against the order passed by the third respondent imposing punishment of withholding increment without cumulative effect of one year, the petitioner filed appeal before the second respondent on 10.08.2016. But so far, the appeal is not disposed of. Hence, this writ petition has been filed.

3. Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Special Government Pleader appearing for the respondents and perused the materials available on record.

4. Considering the limited prayer sought for, without going into the merits of the case, the second respondent is directed to consider the appeal filed by the petitioner and pass suitable orders on merits in accordance with law within a period of twelve (12) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order after giving opportunity to the petitioner.

5. With the above direction, this writ petition is disposed of. No costs.
