The criminal original petition has been filed to direct the 2nd respondent to grant permission and Police protection to conduct cultural programmes (Aadal Padal) at Namakkal District, Senthamangalam, Muttanchetty Village Arulmegu Sri Mariamman and Sri Periya Kandiamman Kovil Kumbabhisega Thiruvizha on 21.10.2018 by petitioner's representation dated 14.10.2018. 2.The learned counsel for the petitioner restricted the prayer made in the Crl.O.P. The learned counsel submitted that it is enough if a direction is given to the respondent police to consider the representation dated 14.10.2018, made by the petitioner and pass appropriate orders.

3.The 2nd respondent police is directed to consider the representation made by the petitioner and pass appropriate orders in accordance with law with in a period of one week from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
