O R D E R

(Order of the Court made by M.DURAISWAMY,J.) The petitioner has filed the above Contempt Petition to punish the respondent for the willful disobedience of the order of this Court dated 12.07.2017 made in W.A.No.2555 of 2010.

2. When the Contempt Petition is taken up for hearing, Mr. M. Sriram, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and Mr. C.S.K. Sathish, learned counsel appearing for the respondent submitted that the petitioner had already received a sum of Rs.8,83,431/- on various dates commencing from 14.3.2019 to 30.11.2020.

3. The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submitted that the respondent has not given the break up for the sum of Rs.8,83,431/- paid by the respondent, hence, the respondent may be directed to furnish the break up. Further, the learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that in the event of the petitioner being aggrieved over the break up of the amounts paid by the respondent, he would work out his remedy in accordance with law.

4. In view of the submissions made by the learned counsel on either side, the Contempt Petition stands closed. The respondent shall furnish the break up for the sum of Rs.8,83,431/- within a period of two weeks from today and in the event of the petitioner being aggrieved over the same, it is open to the petitioner to workout his remedy in accordance with law. No costs.
