By consent of both parties, the writ petition is taken up for final disposal at the admission stage itself. 2.The petitioner has come up with this writ petition seeking a direction to the second respondent to pass appropriate orders, on the basis of his proceedings in Na.Ka.No.16690/2015/A2 dated 23.10.2015, within the time fixed by this Court. 3.According to the learned counsel for the petitioner, the petitioner is having lands in S.F.Nos.524/2A and 255/2B

Puduppalayam Village and S.F.No.66/2P at Gomangalam Village and the lands in Puduppalayam Village are dry lands. Hence, the petitioner submitted a representation to the second respondent, for laying pipe lines through patta land and government lands from Gomangalam to Puduppalayam. Though the pipe line can be laid as per G.O. Ms. No.558 Revenue Department dated 11.06.1997, the second respondent has not passed any order in this regard. Hence, the petitioner is before this Court.

4.Mr.V.Jayaprakash Narayanan, the learned Special Government Pleader, who takes notice for the respondents, submits that the claim of the petitioner would be considered by the second respondent, on merits and in accordance with law. 5.Considering the facts and circumstances of the case and having regard to the submissions made by the learned counsel on either side, this Court, without going into the merits of the case, directs the second respondent to consider the claim of the petitioner, on the basis of his proceedings dated 23.10.2015 and pass appropriate orders, on merits and in accordance with law, after affording due opportunity of personal hearing to the petitioner as well as any other interested parties, within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

6. With the above direction, the writ petition stands disposed of. No costs.
