ORDER

(Order of the Court was made by The Hon'ble Chief Justice) The petitioner is seeking directions to respondent Nos.1 to 3 to remove the encroachments made by respondent Nos.4 to 13 in Survey No.415/2 situated at Tiruvalluvar Nagar, Athani Village, Anthiyur Taluk, Erode District.

2. The learned Government Pleader (i/c) has filed the status report of respondent No.3 i.e., Tahsildar, Anthiyur Taluk, Erode District stating that 16 persons (which includes respondent Nos.5, 7, 8, 9, 10, 11, 13 and son of respondent No.4) have encroached in Survey No.415/2 and that they have issued notices under Section 7 of the Tamil Nadu Land Encroachment Act, 1905 to the said persons. The learned Government Pleader (i/c) states that thereafter, the authorities will proceed in accordance with law.

3. In view of the statement made by the learned Government Pleader (i/c), no further orders are required in this writ petition and the writ petition is closed. No costs. Sd/- Assistant Registrar(CS VIII) //True Copy// Sub Assistant Registrar bbr
