ORDER

The petitioner has filed this writ petition seeking a writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 19/06/2018 and consequently, treat her services from 01/07/1992 as qualifying service for the grant of pension and include her name for grant of pensionary benefits under the Old pension Scheme.

2. The petitioner joined the Tamil Nadu State Construction Corporation as as Site Engineer Grade -I on 31.05.1991 and she is in service till date. The request of the petitioner is to consider her services from 01.07.1992 for the purpose of counting the qualifying service for pension and other pensionary benefits.

3. Mr.A.N.Thambidurai, learned Additional Government Pleader takes notice for the respondents.

4. Heard the learned counsel on either side and perused the materials placed on record.

5. In view of the limited relief sought for, this Court is of the view that it is not necessary to dwell into the merits of the issue, but it would be suffice to direct the respondents to consider the representation submitted by the petitioner on 19.06.2018 and pass orders on the same within a particular time frame.

6.
