O R D E R

This Writ Petition has been filed seeking a direction to nominate a Senior Officer for complying the order of this Court made in WP. No.23069 of 2007 dated 27.11.2015.

2. According to the learned counsel for the petitioner, earlier this Court by order dated 27.11.2015, in WP. No.23069 of 2007 directed the respondent herein, to nominate a Senior Officer to examine the issue involved in the Writ Petition also instructed to file a detailed report and based on that enquiry report further action should be taken by the respondent. The grievance of the petitioner is that despite the order of this Court, no enquiry was conducted by the respondent. Hence the present Writ Petition has been filed by the petitioner seeking https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

the aforesaid prayer.

3. Notice was ordered to the respondent. Today, when the matter is taken up for hearing, the learned Special Government Pleader appearing for the respondent, on instructions, submitted that pursuant to the order passed by this Court in WP. No.23069 of 2007 dated 27.11.2015, a committee has been constituted headed by the District Revenue Officer. The Committee also conducted an enquiry and submitted a report before the District collector. The District Collector will take further action based on the report submitted by the Committee.

4. In view of the above, already Committee has been constituted and report has been filed before the District Collector, no further adjudication is required in the Writ Petition.

5. Accordingly, this Writ Petition is dismissed. No costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed. However, the respondent is directed to furnish a copy of the report filed by the Committee to the petitioner.
