This miscellaneous petition has been filed by the petitioner/respondent in the writ petition seeking extension of time by six months.

2. This Court, vide its earlier order dated 2.8.18 has directed the authorities to dispose of the disciplinary proceedings. The delinquent has been directed to submit explanation, which shall be considered by the appointing authority and the appointing authority was directed to pass orders within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of the order.

3. Learned Special Government Pleader appearing for the respondents submit that no explanation has been submitted by the employee. However, it is stated by the learned counsel for the employee/petitioner in the writ petition that in the typed set of papers, explanation has been annexed at Page Nos.20 to

25. It is submitted that the copy of the said explanation may be provided to the learned Special Government Pleader and it is submitted that the same shall be treated as explanation for the charge memo.

4. In the circumstances, the respondents in the writ petition are directed to treat the copy of the explanation given to the Special Government Pleader as the explanation submitted for the charge memo and shall consider the same and pass orders thereon within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
