PRAYER: Criminal Original Petition filed under Section 482 of the Cr.P.C., to call for the entire records connected with the proceedings in M.C.No.7 of 2015 pending trial on the file of the Learned Judicial Magistrate of Thiruvotriyur and quash the same. For Petitioner :Mrs.Meera Gnanasekar

O R D E R

This petition has been filed challenging the proceedings in M.C.No.7 of 2015, pending on the file of the Judicial Magistrate, Thiruvotriyur.

2.The petitioner is the husband of the respondent, who has initiated the proceedings under Domestic Violence Act against this petitioner in the year 2015. This proceeding is pending before the Court below for more than three years. Therefore, this Court does not want to entertain this Criminal Original Petition at this stage.

3.Taking into the consideration the age of the petitioner, the presence of the petitioner shall be dispensed with by the Court below and he shall be represented by a counsel. The petitioner shall be present before the Court below as and when required by the Court below. The proceedings in M.C.No.7 of 2015 shall be completed within a period of three months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

4.This Criminal Original Petition is disposed of with the above direction. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petitions are closed.
