ORDER

By consent of both parties, the writ petition is taken up for final disposal at the admission stage itself. 2.The petitioner has come up with this writ petition seeking a direction to the respondents to grant him permission to conduct public meeting at Thiruvalluvar Thidal in Pollachi Town on a specified date between 6.00 p.m. and 10.00 p.m. 3.According to the learned counsel for the petitioner, the petitioner has submitted a representation dated 15.10.2018 claiming the relief as prayed in this writ petition, but, the same is yet to be disposed of by the second respondent. the learned counsel submitted that since the date itself is over, it would suffice, if the petitioner is granted liberty to approach the respondents, with a fresh representation suggesting the approved places mentioning the proposed date and time for conducting public meeting.

4.Mr.V.Jayaprakash Narayanan, learned Special Government Pleader, who takes notice for the respondents, has no serious objection in granting such relief to the petitioner, provided the petitioner suggests any one of the approved places mentioning the date and time, for consideration. 5.Considering the facts and circumstances of the case and having regard to the submissions made by the learned counsel on either side, this Court permits the petitioner to submit a fresh representation suggesting the approved places mentioning the date and time, along with a copy of this order to the second respondent. On such submission, the second respondent is directed to consider the same and pass appropriate orders, on merits and in accordance with law, after affording due opportunity of personal hearing to the petitioner as well as any of the interested parties forthwith.

6.Accordingly, this writ petition stands disposed of. No costs.
