Heard, the learned counsel appearing for the parties. 2.

The petitioner, who lost her opportunity to become eligible to participate in the Physical Efficiency Test conducted for the post of Grade II Police Constable, Grade II Jail Warders and Firemen for the year 2017-18, owing to her pregnancy has filed this Writ Petition seeking for certain relief. way of this Writ Petition is nothing but to give her one more chance to participate in the physical efficiency test (which she missed due to her pregnancy) so as to get herself qualified for any one of the aforesaid posts, after delivery of the child. 3.

Mr.V.Kadhirvelu, the learned Special Government Pleader appearing for the respondents has brought to the notice of this Court a decision rendered by the learned Single Judge of this Court, in a Writ Petition filed by one Meena.B seeking very same relief, viz., in W.P.No.21107 of 2017, which was dismissed vide order, dated 08.08.2017, negativing the claim of the petitioner. He also produced a photostat copy of such order for reference of this Court, and therefore, submits that the Writ Petition is liable to be dismissed on that score.

4. Thus, following the order cited by the learned Special Government Pleader for the respondents, the present Writ Petition stands dismissed. No costs. Consequently, connected Miscellaneous Petition is closed.
