Respondent PRAYER : Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India to issue a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondent to consider the application of the petitioner dated 16.10.2018 and survey and fix the boundaries of the property comprised in gramanatham Old Survey No.301/32A, as per Patta No.645 gramanatham New Survey No.301/32A2, situated at No.59, Ponneri -II Kummangalam Village, Ponneri Taluk, Tiruvallur District, measuring a total extent of 0.06 cents (0.02.5 Hectares), i.e. 2616 sq.ft (243 sq.meters).

By consent of both parties, the writ petition is taken up for final disposal at the admission stage itself.

2. The petitioner has come up with this writ petition seeking a direction to the respondent to consider the application of the petitioner dated 16.10.2018, to survey and fix the boundaries in the petitioner's property.

3. According to the learned counsel for the petitioner, the petitioner has submitted an application dated 16.10.2018, to the respondent, claiming the same relief as prayed in this writ https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

petition, but, the said application is yet to be disposed of by the respondent.

4. Mr.E.Balamurugan, learned Special Government Pleader taking notice for the respondent, submitted that the respondent may be directed to consider the petitioner's application dated 16.10.2018 and pass orders in accordance with law.

Having regard to the submissions made by the learned counsel on either side and also taking into consideration the limited prayer sought for in the writ petition, this Court directs the respondent to consider the petitioner's application dated 16.10.2018 and pass appropriate orders, on merits and in accordance with law, after affording due opportunity of hearing to the petitioner as well as any of the interested parties, within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

6. Accordingly, this writ petition stands disposed of. No costs.
