ORDER
The petitioner seeks a direction to the respondent to reply to letter No. Acad.F1/7185/17 (i) dated 09.04.2018 of Kannur University based on his representation dated 04.09.2018. 2.The case of the petitioner is that he was serving as a Junior Lecturer in the Department of Physics, Sir Syed College, Taliparamba, Kannur, Kerala and he also completed Ph.D. in the Bharathiar University, Coimbatore. His next avenue of promotion is to the post of Assistant Professor for which he also obtained Ph.D. and he has submitted a copy of the certificate for recognition issued by the Kannur University, but, the said certificate contained a new phrase, namely, " external part time mode''. However, the Kannur University sought for certain clarification regarding the meaning of the phrase, but, the respondent University has not issued the clarification till https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/
date. In view of non issuance of clarification by the respondent University, the petitioner is not able to get the further promotion and hence, he made a representation dated 04.09.2018 to the respondent. As the same has not been considered, he is before this Court.
3.Mr.S.Mukund, learned Standing Counsel appearing for the respondent sought two weeks time to consider the representation made by the petitioner.
4. Considering the limited prayer sought for in this petition, without going into the merits of the same, this Court hereby directs the respondent to consider the representation dated 04.09.2018 given by the petitioner and pass orders, on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. Accordingly, this writ petition stands disposed of. No costs.
