2. The petitioner seeks a direction for removal of AIADMK flagstaff located in front of the bus stop, which is situated in section road and adjacent to National Highway No.47 in Pulavari Village,

Naikarapatti Union, Salem South, Salem District.

3. A counter-affidavit is filed by the first respondent. It is narrated in the counter-affidavit that the flag post has been removed on 10.1.2019.

4. In view of that, the purpose of the writ petition stands served. The writ petition is, accordingly, disposed of. There will be no order as to costs.
