C.R.P. (PD) Nos.285 and 287 of 2019 J.NISHA BANU, J.

This Court, by an order dated 13.02.2020, directed the learned Sub-Judge, Vellore, to dispose of the suit in O.S.No.98 of 2006, within a period of six months from the date of receipt of a copy of that order. Since the said suit could not be disposed of within the time stipulated by this Court, the Court below, by letter dated 08.10.2021, sought for further period of six months time to dispose of the same. Accordingly, this Court by an order dated 22.11.2021, extended the time for another six months. Again now, the Court below by letter dated 16.06.2022 sought for further period of time to dispose of the suit. Hence, the matters are listed before this Court today.

2.The suit is of the year 2008, the learned Principal Subordinate Judge, Vellore is directed to dispose of the suit within a period of four months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order, both the parties are directed to cooperate for the speedy disposal of the suit, on day today basis. If either of the parties, or the representing counsels did not cooperate in disposing the suit, the learned Judge shall dispose of the same on merits.

3.If the suit is not disposed of, within the time limit prescribed by this court, the matter will be viewed seriously.
