PRAYER : Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying to issue a Writ of Certiorarified Mandamus, to call for the records relating to the impugned proceedings issued by the first respondent and the 2nd respondent in (i)R.No.43320/E4/S2/2018-2 dated 19.07.2018, (ii)R.No.43320/E4/S2/2018-1 dated 19.07.2018, (iii)R.No.64401/E4/S1/2018-2 dated 19.07.

2018 and to quash the same to the limited extent of revision of empanelment and seniority in the post of Assistants of the petitioners and their non empanelment and promotion for the post of Superintendents and the revision of the empanelment and seniority and their empanelment and promotion as Superintendents for the respective years of the private respondents herein(3 to 14) and to issue consequential direction to the first respondent herein to restore the empanelment and seniority of the petitioners in the post of Assistants over and above the respondents herein and to include their names in the empanelment and promotion for the post of Superintendents and to place them in appropriate panel over and above the private respondents and promote the petitioners as Superintendents with retrospective effect from the date of promotion of their immediate juniors and to grant all consequential benefits within a time frame.

ORDER

The learned Government Advocate appearing for the first respondent submits that the Writ Petition has become infructuous, in view of the subsequent developments happened during the pendency of the Writ Petition in the light of the order dated 22.11.2019 in WP(MD)No.17898 of 2018.

2.The learned counsel for the petitioners has also accepted the same. 3.In view of the above factual position, in our considered view, no further adjudication is required in the present Writ Petition. 4.Accordingly, this Writ Petition is dismissed as infructuous. No costs.
