The Inspector of Police, Thiyagadurgam Police Station, Villupuram District to the file of the Superintendent of Police, CBCID, Vilupuram, Villupuram District or any other competent investigating agency for proper investigation and to file a report before competent Court. O R D E R

Pursuant to the suspicious death of one Murugan, on the complaint lodged by Valarselvi, Thiyagadurgam Police have registered a case in Crime No.350 of 2018 on 22.06.2018 and during the course of investigation, it came to light that the said Murugan was murdered and therefore, the case has now been altered to one under Section 302 IPC. Now, one Sakthivel has voluntarily surrendered and he has been remanded to Judicial custody. Under such circumstances, the de facto complainant is before this Court with the above prayer.

2.Heard Mr.Balu, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner/de facto complainant and the learned Additional Public Prosecutor.

3.Mr.Balu submitted that there are strong reasons to believe that the said Sakthivel is involved in Crime No.513 of 2018. 4.Learned Additional Public Prosecutor submitted that investigation in Crime No.513 of 2018 is still pending and it is in infant stage.

5.Taking into consideration the nature of the allegations, this Court directs the Deputy Superintendent of Police, Kallakurichi Sub Division, to monitor the investigation in Crime No.350 of 2018 and Crime No.513 of 2018, that is being conducted by the Inspector of Police, Thiyagadurgam Police Station, Villupuram.
