This Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying for the issue of a Writ of Mandamus, directing the 3rd respondent to permit the petitioner to participate in the selection process for the posts of Forester, Forest Guard and Forest Guard with Driving Licence as per the Advertisement No.1/2018 dated 06/10/2018 without insisting the upper age limit of 35 years as on 01/07/2018 in terms of Tamilnadu Forest Subordinate Service Rules and Section 20(8) of the Tamil Nadu Government Servants ( Conditions of Service ) Act, 2016.
