ORDER

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed seeking for police protection on the ground that the petitioner is facing a potential threat to his life and limb.

2. The petitioner has given a representation to the second respondent on 09.07.2018 by citing the reasons as to why he requires police protection. The said representation has been received by the second respondent and till date no action has been taken. Hence, the present petition has been filed before this court.

3. It will be suffice to direct the second respondent to consider the representation dated 09.07.2018 made by the petitioner and take a decision and pass appropriate orders within a period of three weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
