Respondents PRAYER : Writ Petition filed Under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying to issue a Writ of Mandamus, directing the 2nd respondent to conclude the enquiry at the earliest for the grant of patta in respect of the petitioner's property situated at No.46, Theetalam village, Madurantakam Taluk, kancheepuram district comprised in survey No.193/3 of an extent of 0.30 cents pursuant to the decree dated 04.11.1986 passed in O.S.No.422 of 1982 on the file of the learned District Munsif Court, Madurantakam.

By consent of both parties, the writ petition is taken up for final disposal at the admission stage itself. 2.The petitioner has come up with this Writ Petition seeking a direction to the second respondent to conclude the enquiry at the earliest for grant of patta in respect of his property situated at No.46, Theetalam village, Madurantakam Taluk, kancheepuram district measuring an extent of 0.30 cents comprised in survey No.193/3 pursuant to the decree dated 04.11.1986 passed in O.S.No.422 of 1982 on the file of the https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/
learned District Munsif Court, Madurantakam.
3.According to the learned counsel for the petitioner, the petitioner has submitted a representation dated 13.07.2012 for grant of patta, but, the same is yet to be disposed of by the second respondent. However, the learned counsel submitted that it would suffice, if the said representation made by the petitioner is directed to be considered by the second respondent, on merits.
4. Heard Mr.E.Balamurugan, learned Special Government Pleader taking notice on behalf of respondents.
5. Considering the facts and circumstances of the case and the submissions made on either side, this Court, without expressing any opinion on the merits of the representation, directs the second respondent to consider the petitioner's representation dated 13.07.2012 and pass appropriate orders, on merits and in accordance with law, after affording due opportunity of hearing to the petitioner as well as any of the interested parties, within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
6. With the above directions, this writ petition stands disposed of. No costs.
