ORDER

Mr.Niranjan Rajagopal, learned counsel takes notice for the respondents. By consent of both parties, the writ petition is taken up for final disposal at the admission stage itself.

2. The prayer sought for in this writ petition is for a mandamus to direct the first respondent to dispose of the second appeal filed by the petitioner on 15.05.2017 against the respondents 2 to 4, within a time frame as may be fixed by this Court.

3. According to the learned counsel for the petitioner, the petitioner preferred a second appeal before the first respondent on 15.05.2017 against the respondents 2 to 4, with regard to non furnishing of information about his application dated 04.02.2017, but, the same has not been disposed of by the first respondent till date. Hence, the petitioner is before this Court.

4. The learned counsel appearing for the respondents fairly submitted that first respondent would dispose of the second appeal filed by the petitioner on merits and in accordance with law.

5. Considering the facts and circumstances of the case and having regard to the submissions made by the learned counsel on either side, this Court, without going into the merits of the case, directs the first respondent to dispose of the second appeal filed by the petitioner on 15.05.2017 and pass appropriate orders, on merits and in accordance with law, after affording due opportunity of personal hearing to the petitioner as well as any other interested parties, within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

6. With the above direction, the writ petition stands disposed of. No costs.
