By consent of both parties, the writ petition is taken up for final disposal at the admission stage itself.

2. The petitioner has come up with this writ petition seeking a direction to the second respondent to dispose of the petitioner's appeal dated 07.02.2018 and consequently, direct the third respondent to restore the Patta issued in the name of the petitioner.

3. According to the learned counsel for the petitioner, the petitioner has filed an appeal dated 07.02.2018, to the second respondent, claiming the same relief as prayed in this writ petition, but, the said appeal is yet to be disposed of by the second respondent.

4. Mr.E.Balamurugan, learned Special Government Pleader taking notice for the respondents, submitted that the second respondent may be directed to consider the petitioner's appeal dated 07.02.2018 and pass orders in accordance with law.

5. Having regard to the submissions made by the learned counsel on either side and also taking into consideration the limited prayer sought for in the writ petition, this Court directs the second respondent to consider the petitioner's appeal dated 07.02.2018 and pass appropriate orders, on merits and in accordance with law, after affording due opportunity of hearing to the petitioner and the fourth respondent as well as any of the interested parties, within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

6. Accordingly, this writ petition stands disposed of. No costs.
