Prayer in W.P. No. 28895 of 2018: Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying to issue a Writ of Mandamus, directing the First Respondent to consider the representation of the Petitioner dated 30.07.2018 in the light of the Mines and Mineral (Development and Regulation) Act, 1957 and the Rules framed thereunder i.e., Tamil Nadu Minor Mineral Concession Rules, 1959, pass orders thereon within the time frame fixed by this Court, consequently forbear the First Respondent from carrying out the entry, inspection and taking measurement in the quarry sites i.e., leasehold area of the members of the Petitioner association, till the representation dated 30.07.2018 is considered.

Prayer in W.P. No. 30490 of 2018: Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying to issue a Writ of Mandamus, forbearing the First Respondent from carrying out the entry, inspection and taking measurement of any quarry sites i.e., presently working quarries, abandoned mine/quarries (lease expired quarries), etc., of the members of the Petitioner association.
