O R D E R

The present Writ Petition has been filed for issuance of a Writ of Mandamus to direct the first respondent to transfer the proceedings in Na.Ka.No.10687/2018/B2, which was renumbered as Na.Ka.No.12288/2018/B2 pending before the first respondent to any other near-by District Magistrate/Collector.

2. The learned Senior Counsel appearing for the second respondent submitted that the proceedings are already over and the persons concerned have received their compensation and he also produced the statement, wherein, the compensation of the land owners have been directly credited to their accounts as indicated in the statement for the purpose of foundation and erection work.

3. The first respondent/District Collector, Dharmapuri, has also filed a counter affidavit, wherein, it is stated in page No.12 that the client of the writ petitioner viz., R.Ravi Kumar and others had already given their consent to enter upon their patta lands, so as to execute the project works by the second respondent and his men or any one in this subject matter abiding the rules and regulations and have received the compensation.

4. It is to be noted that the petitioner has already received the compensation and as per instructions of the first respondent, the erection works have already been completed by the second respondent and therefore, nothing survives for adjudication in this matter.

5. Accordingly, this Writ Petition is closed. There shall be no order as to costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
