This writ petition is filed for a Mandamus directing the 1st respondent Bank to sanction education loan to the petitioner based on the application dated 10.07.2018.

2. After notice, the matter is taken up for further hearing today.

3. Learned counsel appearing for the respondent Bank submitted that he received a communication from the Bank stating that the educational loan application of the petitioner is under process and the loan will be sanctioned and disbursed in two weeks' time. The said statement is recorded.

4. Accordingly, this Writ Petition is disposed of by

directing the respondent Bank to disburse the educational loan to the petitioner within a period of two weeks as has been undertaken by them. No costs.
