This petition has been filed to permit the petitioner to amend the prayer by restricting the prayer for issuing a Writ of Mandamus by issuing suitable direction, directing the first respondent to reimburse the tuition fees under the "Perunthalaivar Kamarajar Financial Assistance Scheme" for the fourth and fifth year as per that scheme instead of the prayer for issuing a Writ of Mandamus by issuing a suitable direction, directing the second respondent to confer the MBBS seat in any of the Government Colleges under CENTAC Quota by treating the petitioner under SC category or in the alternative directing the respondents to pay by way of compensation by paying the fees paid and payable in Self-Financing College in which the petitioner was already admitted in the MBBS Course under Government Quota through CENTAC for the entire course of five years to be undergone by the petitioner.

2. Heard the learned counsels appearing on either side.

3. On being satisfied with the averments stated in the affidavit filed in support of the petition and also considering the submissions made by the learned counsels appearing on either side, this petition is ordered.
