For Petitioner : Mr.S.Venugopal Raj For Respondents : Mr.M.Elumalai, Government Pleader for R1-R3 C O M M O N O R D E R This writ petition has been filed seeking for a direction to the respondent to consider the application of the petitioners seeking for regularisation as per G.O.Ms.No.565. The issue involved in both the Writ Petitions are one and the same and hence, a common order is passed.

2. The case of the petitioners is that they have purchased the property without knowing that the property has been notified under the Urban Land Ceiling Act. Thereafter, the petitioners have filed an application for regularisation on 14.06.2018 as per G.O.Ms.No.565, but that application was not so far considered. Hence, the present Writ Petition has been filed by the petitioners.

3. Mr.M.Elumalai, learned counsel for the respondents submitted that the petitioners applications are pending with the 1st respondent and the 1st respondent will pass suitable orders.

4. Considering the above fact, without going into the merits of the case, the 1st respondent is directed to consider the applications of the petitioners and pass suitable orders on merits within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of the copy of this order.

5. In the result, this Writ Petitions are disposed of with the above direction. No costs.
