For Petitioner : Mr.P.Prince Premkumar C O M M O N O R D E R The petitioner is an accused in C.C.Nos.229 of 2017 and 242 of 2017 pending on the file of the Fast Track Court, Magisterial Level, Ambattur for an offence under Section 138 of Negotiable Instruments Act. It is the case of the complainant that, the petitioner had joined four chits and defaulted in making payment and that, the cheque issued by the petitioner was dishonoured. 2.Heard Mr.P.Prince Premkumar, learned counsel for the accused and the perused the materials placed on record. 3.Mr.Prince Premkumar submitted that property worth about Rs.1.5Crores belonging to the petitioner has been given as security to the complainant and therefore, the petitioner is ready to amicably settle the issues with the complainant. 4.In view of the above, this Court directs the Fast Track https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/
Court, Magisterial Level, Ambattur to send both the parties to local Lok Adalat or to the local Mediation Centre, for the parties to arrive at an amicable settlement.
