Respondents PRAYER: Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, to issue a Writ of Habeas Corpus, directing the respondents to release the prisoner on parole namely S.Chandran, S/o.Subramani, who is confined in Puzhal Prison, Chennai on parole, enabling him to attend the Petitioner's marriage function on 09.11.2018 at Arulmigu Angalamman Thirukoil, Kalmandabam at about 6.00 A.M and further to attend the reception to be held at N.Jeevarathinam Maligai at about 06.30 PM for a period of 15 days before this Hon'ble Court.

[Order of the Court by C.T.SELVAM, J.] This petition has been filed by petitioner/son of the life convict (Prisoner No.7249) S.Chandran, S/o.Subraman, who is undergoing sentence pursuant to conviction in S.C. No. 307 of 2017 on the file of Mahila Court, Chennai, under judgment dated 05.10.2018, seeking a direction to respondents to grant parole for his father.

2. This Court, by an order dated 08.11.2018, has granted 2 days leave to the detenu from 08.11.2018 at 5.30 p.m till 5.00 p.m on 10.11.2018(Saturday) and directed the Registry to list the matter on 12.11.2018 for "Reporting Compliance".
