Respondents PRAYER : Writ Petition filed Under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying to issue a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents to consider the petitioner's representation dated 10.10.2018 and pass an appropriate order by fixing the monthly rent payable by the respondents to the petitioner and to pay the monthly rent from the month of February 2016 to till date along with interest at the rate of 12% per annum for the accumulated arrears and to pay for the subsequent months.

O R D E R

The petitioner has come up with this writ petition seeking a direction to the respondents to consider his representation dated 10.10.2018 and to pay him the monthly rent payable by the respondents from the month of February 2016 to till date along with the interest.

2.According to the learned counsel for the petitioner, the petitioner has submitted a representation dated 10.10.2018 claiming the relief as prayed in this writ petition, but, the same is yet to be disposed of by the respondents. Hence, the petitioner is before this Court.

3.Mr.T.M.Pappiah, learned Special Government Pleader taking notice for the respondents submitted that the respondents be directed to consider the petitioner's representation and pass orders in accordance with law.

4.Considering the facts and circumstances of the case and having regard to the submissions made by the learned counsel on either side, this Court directs the respondents to consider the petitioner's representation dated 10.10.2018 and pass appropriate orders, on merits and in accordance with law, after affording due opportunity of hearing to the petitioner as well as any of the interested parties, on or before 21.12.2018.

5. Accordingly, this Writ Petition stands disposed of. No costs. Consequentially, connected miscellaneous petition also closed.

6. Post the matter on 21.12.2018 for reporting compliance.
