ORDER

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed to direct the respondent police not to harass the petitioner under the guise of the enquiry.

2. Heard learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and learned Government Advocate(Crl.side) for the respondent.

3. The matter pertains to the civil dispute between the parties. Admittedly, the petitioner owes some money to the complainant. This matter cannot be enquired by the police. Hence, the respondent is directed not to harass the petitioner in the name of enquiry and the parties shall be relegated before the appropriate Civil Court.

4. In view of the above direction, this Criminal Original Petition is disposed of.
