This Writ Petition has been filed seeking for a direction to the first respondent to consider and dispose of the petitioner's representation dated 05.10.2018, within a stipulated time

2. According to the learned counsel for the petitioner the petitioner made a representation to the first respondent seeking to take action against the second respondent, who is running the ladies hostel illegally, without the necessary licence, in the residential Apartments. Since, the same did not evoke any response, the petitioner has come forward with this Writ Petition seeking for the aforesaid relief.

3. Heard Mr.V.Shanmugasundar, learned Special Government Pleader appearing on behalf of the first respondent. Perused the materials available on record.

4. If the allegations averred in the affidavit are true, it is really shocking and the authorities are liable to take immediate action on the same, as it concerns to health and hygiene of the young girls.

5. Considering the aforesaid facts and circumstances of the case and having regard to the submissions made, without going into the merits of the case, this Court directs the first respondent to pass orders on the representation of the petitioner dated 05.10.2018, on merits and in accordance with law, after issuing notice to the petitioner and also affording due opportunity of hearing to the petitioner as well as any of the interested parties, within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

6. This Writ Petition is disposed of with the above directions. No costs.

7. Post for compliance on 01.02.2019.
